Pictory AI, a tool designed to make video creation fast, easy, and affordable. They have features like text to video where you simply paste in a script, and in literal seconds, you get a video with custom backgrounds, subtitles, and the power to easily edit absolutely everything within. Again, all within an affordable price point, which we'll have a look at towards the end of the video. Now, instead of taking my word for all of these bold claims, we'll go through Pictory AI together. We'll be looking at its main features, pros and cons of this tool along with the pricing as mentioned earlier. So, with all of that being said, let's start on the dashboard of Pictory. You can get a free trial with the link provided in the description box down below. So, we'll look at the two main features, which is text to video and AI video editor. We'll start off with the text to video feature. In this section, all we need to do is give a title for our project and paste in our script. So, we'll be looking at the top three places to travel. And I generated a script from chat GPT, which I'll paste in here. Now, do keep in mind that you do want to make sure that your script is clean, just like mine, so it is easier for Pictory to turn into different scenes. Then, we can simply click on generate video. Then, it will start to render our video. And just like that, after maybe not even 10 seconds, we now have a fully edited video. Of course, we can go through and edit this a lot more further. As you can see on the left here, we have multiple different scenes consisting of our script. If we go through them, you can see that each of them have their own unique background highlighting the main keyword of that scene. The great thing about Pictory is that you can quite literally customize everything to your liking. So, for example, if I wanted to change this background of this woman here, what I can do is go to the visuals tab in the top left and search for a different visual. For example, if I wanted a video of a beach for this scene, I can type in beach and then I can go through a bunch of different videos and apply it to my scene. It's as simple as finding a video and clicking on it and then it will apply to whatever scene you have chosen. If you wanted to edit the subtitles, it is very similar to the visuals. All you need to do is simply click on the subtitle. Then a section up here will allow you to edit the subtitles. A lot of this is very standard. You can adjust the font, the size, make it bold or capital. after you have edited your text and you are happy with how it looks, you can actually go to the top right here and choose to save it as a style. So, in future projects, instead of having to go through and recreate this whole subtitle section again, you can simply apply it to whatever project you'd like. And you can also choose to apply it to all of your current scenes, which again saves a lot of time. So, going through my scenes, as you can see, it has now applied the subtitles that I've just created to all of them. So now if I go to the styles tab on the left here and then I can go to my styles, it is now saved my style again which I can use for different projects. We can also adjust the audio and add our own AI voice over. So if we go to the audio tab, we can choose between a huge selection of premium voices by 11 Labs. We can choose to preview that AI voice and if we wanted to apply it to our video, we can click on generate and apply. Same with the background music. We can go through 15,000 plus different tracks and apply it to our videos. Next, we can look at another feature that's going to save you so much time when it comes to your projects, which is branding. This feature lets you customize videos with your logo, brand colors, and fonts to maintain a consistent look across all of your projects. Again, Pictory make this very simple. All you need to do is simply click create a brand, and then you can fill in the required information such as your brand name, logo, colors, and the font. And after that you should have your very own brand which again you can apply to any of your content. Applying it is very simple. All you need to do is select a brand and choose the correct one. And then finally we can look at the format section. This is where you can choose your video resolution along with the aspect ratio of your video. You are limited between 720p and 1080p which is more than enough. However, considering that there is multiple different plans it would be nice to have higher resolutions. And after that, once you are happy with your video, you can then look to download it. Now we can look at the AI video editor. Once clicked, you can drag and drop your video that you wouldd like to edit. For this example, I will use a demo video. After that, you can then click on upload. And then, as you can see, whatever content you have provided will be put into a text format, which you can then edit. You may be asking yourself, why would I use Ptory over an actual video editing software? The whole purpose of Ptory is to make video editing very simple. So people with no editing skill can quite literally come in and be able to edit their videos with ease. So if we look at the script on the left, you can see there's a bunch of ums and Rs. To remove that, all you need to simply do is click on remove filler words at the top here. And there we go. It is now removed all the arms and Rs. The same thing with the silences. If we go through the script, you can see little squares which indicate silences. To remove those, again, all it is is a simple click. In this case, it is the button remove silences. Then you can adjust the length of the silence. For example, it is set to 2 seconds. I'll drop it down to one and then click on okay. And there we go. It is now removed all the silences arms and Rs in this video. All from clicking two buttons. Again, making it so easy to go through all of your content without any editing skills required. After you are happy with how your video/script is looking, we can then choose to either download the video or we can customize it even further. If you chose to customize, it is quite literally the same process as we showed earlier. You get taken back to the Pictory story board where you can apply the same techniques that we learned from beforehand. Now that we've gone through Pictory AI, we can now start to decide whether this tool is actually worth it, which takes us to the plans and pricing. There's four plans we can choose between: starter, professional, teams, and enterprise. Going with the annual option, you can save 24% off all of these plans.
